Stefan Pratsch has internalized the importance of the uniqueness of the soil as a “vineyard” habitat for the flora and fauna. Once the soil has been looked after and cherished over many years, that living soil gives back and transfers its balanced character into the wine making it balanced.
Stefan Pratsch’s wines are available in the categories Classic, Single-Site Wines, Reserve Wines and Natural Wines. Pronounced longevity and natural minerality are of particular importance.
Early on it became clear that Stefan Pratsch would take over the parental winery. After a solid theoretical education at the viticultural school in Mistelbach, he got to know the practice in his parents’ traditional business. Then it was a time to find and perfect his own way.
The parents Willi and Anneliese Pratsch, wife Bernadette, partners and friends and above all the feedback of the many customers have contributed to the success of this ambition. An important milestone was the extraordinarily positive echo of the wines in the USA and Scandinavia. Today the wines of Stefan Pratsch enjoy great popularity worldwide.
