Zuccardi Q Cabernet Franc is sourced from select old vines on at the Altamira vineyard in Mendoza. The front label image illustrates the stone walls of the Zuccardi winery rising from the Uco Valley soils symbolizing how the Andes mountains emerged millions of years ago.
Made with grapes harvested during the first week of April. Fermented with native yeasts in concrete vats filled by gravity. Skin maceration for 20 days. Complete malolactic fermentation. Aging in 2500l foudres.
GRAPE COMPOSITION: 100% Cabernet Franc
APPELLATION: Paraje Altamira, Valle de Uco, Mendoza (3608 feet) and San Pablo, Tunuyan, Valle de Uco (4,600 feet)
COLOR: Ruby red color.
AROMA: Fresh fruit aromas of cherry, cassis, and violet notes.
FLAVOR: Lush acidity, firm tannins and a long finish. It can be consumed now but will age beautifully for several years.
