Zuccardi Poligonos Paraje Altamira Malbec

Polígonos of the Uco Valley is a selection that expresses the particular characteristics of different terroirs within the Valley. These are wines from a selection of vineyards that account for the differences in altitude, soil and climate that currently characterize the subregions of San Pablo, Paraje Altamira and Tupungato.

VINIFICATION

Maceration done in concrete vats (no epoxi) with indigenous yeast. Maceration for 20 days. The wine was aged in concrete vats.

ALTITUDE: 3,600 ft / 1,100 mt above sea level
SOIL TYPE: Alluvial soil well stratified. 4” to 32” deep soil over big-clay-covered stones.
ALCOHOL: 13 % | TOTAL ACIDITY 5.85 g/l | RESIDUAL SUGAR 1.80 g/l

TASTING NOTES

COLOR: Red color with violet hues.
AROMA: Expresses a great herbal character with notes of fresh red fruits.
FLAVOR: Lively acidity and subtlety of tannins in the mouth.
