Our Tiamo Organic Rosato IGT comes from organically farmed vineyards in the coastal Italian region of Abruzzo, in and around the village of Chieti. The region is ideally suited for the Sangiovese and Montepulciano grape with chalky texture soils and vines located on hillsides with good exposure to the northeast sun. The Sangiovese and Montepulciano grapes are fermented separately. During fermentation the skins stay in contact with the juice for about 24 hours to extract just enough beautiful pink color.
