VINEYARD: Our Tiamo Organic Inzolia comes from organicallyfarmed vineyard on the southern Italian island of Sicily. The region is ideally suited for the Inzolia grape with soils that are high in limestone and sand and vines located on hillsides with good exposure to the sun.
WINEMAKING: After gentle pressing of the grapes and clarification of the must, fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel vats for 15 days after which the wine is carefully stored until ready for bottling in the early spring. No oak.
TASTING: The wine has a lovely bright crispness to it but also charming fresh fruit flavors of apricots and peaches.
