VINEYARD: The grapes for Tiamo Barbera come from organically farmed vineyards in the village of Pavia on the cusp of the Piedmont region.
WINEMAKING: Following harvest, the grapes are destemmed and macerated in stainless steel tanks for 10 days before fermentation begins. The wines are aged in stainless steel tanks and no oak is used in order to retain as much of the fruit qualities of the wine as possible.
TASTING: The lovely Tiamo Barbera is a lighter, fresher red wine that has delightful aromas of raspberries. It is dry but full of fruit and a perfect everyday Italian red.
