Lafond Winery & Vineyards was founded by Santa Barbara County pioneer, Pierre Lafond. Lafond started his first winery in Santa Barbara in 1962, and planted some of the first vineyards in the area in 1971, before Sta. Rita Hills was even an appellation. Today, Pierre and the next generation are dedicated to producing limited quantities of Sta. Rita Hills Vineyard wines. Our Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Chardonnay are inspired by a desire to capture the specific beauty of each of these growing regions.
