Our 2010 Chardonnay one of my favourites - a complex, balanced yet fresh style. The French oak fermentation has added complexity without dulling the wine while the crisp citrus characters keeps the palate refreshed. This is what chardonnay is meant to taste like. - Michael Hope

The nose exudes ripe nectarine, melon, peach and pineapple fruit characters with nutty, creamy butterscotch. The malo complexity is balanced by the flinty, citrus finish. Rich depth of stonefruit flavors are balanced by the fresh citrus and melon. The fruit integrates with the creamy oak to achieve a complex and full mouthfeel with persistent flavors and a very long, crisp, refreshing finish.
This full bodied chardonnay will complement both chicken and creamy pasta dishes while the crisp citrus finish makes a great accompaniment to seafood.

Delicate peach, pear and ripe citrus fruits mingling with non-overpowering vanillinand light toasty oak. Full flavored with ripe stonefruits at the fore, the oak is subtle and really well integrated and provides support to a palate that has texture, balance and just great mouth feel with a long, persistent and crisp finish. This medium bodied chardonnay will complement most chicken, pasta and veal dishes. As long as the food is not too spicy or generally overpowering, it willprovide a good match
