The nose is uncomplicated, clean and fresh with red berry aromas. The wine is soft on the palate with rich rounded flavors which are complemented by good acidity giving this wine a crisp freshness.

A dry table wine made from a blend of three Portuguese varietals: Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Nacional by famed French winemaker, Francois Lurton.

Barco Negro is crafted by Francois Lurton from three indigenous varietals to the Duoro Valley - tinta roriz (tempranillo), touriga nacional and touriga franca. The result is a rich, full wine that shows cherry fruits and great minerality on a lively acid backbone.
